Question and Answer with J.J. Azar (#1)

Boy, do I love referring to myself in the third person! (Honestly, it’s a struggle titling these blasted posts. This is the best I could come up with).

Anyways, you asked, I answered! In celebration of reaching 100 Followers(!), I gathered a bunch of your questions and answered them in video form. Thank God I didn’t answer them via text. The transcribed wiseassery would come across as far too pretentious without a goofy face attached to the words.

I did my best to keep the video as short as I could (5 quick minutes), well aware that you and I typically hop onto WordPress to read, not to watch videos. I had a blast making this though! If you have any thoughts about the video (or would like to compliment the fine candles behind me), drop a thought in the comments! I hope you enjoy. (No, really. I dressed up in a suit and everything. I went all out on this. LOVE IT, I TELL YOU!)

As always, stay classy.

  1. That intro 😉 All of your answers were wonderful, but you had me at a monopoly game that ends haha! What is it with that. And sometimes I have to initiate a ban due to the arguments. I am going to go out on a limb and slightly disagree about Bond. I am all for Craig (but you gave him props so we are all good 😉 )

This was fantastic. Choosing to do a video worked so well!

    1. I’m super glad you liked it! Craig is a class act. Casino Royale is my favorite Bond movie, and Skyfall is one of the best of the franchise. It’s just that Dalton came out of nowhere and surprised the heck out of me. I saw him as being very much like Craig (brooding, intense and all). Thanks for checking it out! 😀

    1. Entertaining AND classy? It seems I did a fine job! I’m glad you enjoyed it. 😀 Dunkin used to be a nostalgic treat for me when I was living in California, but when I came back to Jersey and got a hold of Glaze, I couldn’t go back.

  2. Love this!! *This* is gold!! Hahaha your Stevie Wonder answer made me laugh!! Ahh yes- posh English definitely makes complaints sound more valid 😉 (I actually speak in RP so maybe I’m biased lol) Ahh avatar is such a cool answer- I love how different everyone’s answer is for that! Haha yeah monopoly does go on forever 😉 hahaha I love that you chose Voldemort to avoid weird smells! Ahh good choice- LOTR is awesome! (Okay I’ve given away my bias there) Wolf or cowering ferret- that’s very different options! OH GOD!!!!! THOSE DONUTS!!!!!! I WANT THEM!!! THAT WAS TORTURE (even though I had donuts just an hour ago- but whatever- those look so much better!!!) *Excuse me while I go to get more donuts*

    1. THANK YOU for your questions and kind comments. You gave me plenty of ammunition to fire away with nonsense haha! The Stevie Wonder bit is exactly why I could never hold a career in public service. I could never get elected lol. I’ve rethought my answer on the “posh” English though. If you’ve ever seen the movie “Legend” with Tom Hardy, he uses some really harsh, hard to understand English accent that I find really cool. I’d like to speak like that (on command, not in daily life). And those donuts look WILD don’t they?! Thank you for taking the time to watch and drop your thoughts!

      1. You’re welcome!! hahaha I’m glad!! hahaha you never know 😉 haha just checked out the trailer- pretty sure that’s cockney (real cockney- not Dick Van Dyke cockney 😉 ) haha it’s a very entertaining accent! But sadly I think it’s dying out. OH YES THEY DID!! You’re welcome!

      2. Cockney! Now I know what it’s called. Sad that it’s dying I enjoy the heck out of listening to it. I’ve seen the movie twice and there are still patches I can’t understand, but still!

      3. Why thank you for that. I like to talk clearly so I can get my point across. And speaking of posh, I just reviewed a movie that features many posh people behaving very badly. The movie had its moments, yet couldn’t really emerge as anything special.

      4. Mate, great stuff! Voice or no, you articulate yourself well through video or otherwise. It’s not easy to interpret film with such depth, but you do it with professionalism lacking within the “professional”critiquing community.

      5. I’m usually up for watching anything and would never just dismiss something outright without actually viewing. I don’t think it wise to go into the cinema expecting something bad, what’s the point?

    1. His rates were ridiculously expensive. He claims most of the pay is justified by the eyebrows, which I personally find to be excessively thick.

I’m glad you enjoyed the video! If I’m not mistaken (and I often am), we hadn’t found one another on WordPress at the time of this post’s release! That’s probably why you missed it! Hopefully you’ll be around for #2 (if I get there)!

      1. I think his eyebrows make his look. 😉

I think you’re right about that. It feels like I’ve been following you forever, but it hasn’t actually been that long.

After watching this I’m tempted to make a Q&A of my own, but the fact I’m not showing my face makes that a bit harder…

      2. I’m flattered!

Showing your face is a personal decision, of course. It’s something many of my favorite bloggers have yet to do or have done only once or twice. Q and A’s can still be engaging in text form! Although, you can still make a video without showing your face with just as hilarious results! (I’m sure your answers will be hilarious, considering the sharpness of your wit)
